Menu Monday ~

Greetings ~

Since coming back from East Africa last month I have had the fabulous opportunity to attend a number of tastings for some up coming weddings.  I have shared the photos on facebook and instagram but wanted to make  sure you my faithful readers were able to see all the yummy goodness.

Choosing a menu is hard and tastings are a great way to see how the food looks, how it will be presented and what it tastes like!  Here is a sampling of some of my recent tastings

Tasty Hors d’oeuvres from G Catering

A twist on cheesecake from G Catering

Yummy Roasted veggies and a twist on the black and bleu salad

Salad options side by side created by the Gaylord Opryland Resort

Decisions decisions what would you choose?

So with the Indian portion of the wedding complete we move on to the Western Ceremony.  In keeping with tradition the colors are red and white!  Jill was an absolutely stunning bride and Kanu could not of looked happier!  Enjoy the photos once again from the ever talented Camryn Holt.

New York Yankee 60th ~

May 3, 2010 by Leave a Comment

thanks to the rain that middle tennessee saw this weekend I was able to work on some projects I have not tackled in a very long time!  The biggest one was to tackle the 10,000 photos on my laptop and get them organized!  While working on that project I came across a event I did that I never blogged about and thought I would share it today!  Louis Suttle was turning 60 and he is a huge New York Yankees fan!  His wife wanted to throw him a surprise party like no other!  So what did we do??  We rented Jamison Hall at the Factory, placed an ad in the brentwood paper about a sports fan memoribilia event – and off we went!  I purchased indoor outdoor carpet from home depot to create the ball field!  Each base was a food station with the pitching mound belonging to the AMAZING cake!  Mrs. Suttle purchased all the goodies for the tables and buffet and even had Nash from the Nashville Predators arrive to present the birthday boy with a official jersey!!  Here are some photos from the event!  Many many thanks to Maples wedding cakes for stepping up to the challenge of creating yankee stadium!!

Wishing you a Magical Day~
